Under Construction

from $115.00

The Basílica La Sagrada Família stands as both a masterpiece in progress and a testament to the passage of time. Rising above Barcelona’s Eixample district, its intricate spires and organic forms blur the line between architecture and nature, a vision born from the genius of Antoni Gaudí. Though construction began in 1882, it remains the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world—a living monument still taking shape more than a century later.

Gaudí’s fusion of Gothic grandeur and Art Nouveau fluidity makes the Sagrada Família a structure unlike any other, its timeless design evolving alongside modern engineering. I am struck by the striking contrast between the centuries-old stonework and the towering cranes and scaffolding, a visual bridge between past and future. In this ever-changing silhouette, history and progress exist side by side, reminding us that some masterpieces are never truly finished—they simply continue to grow."

This is my original photo printed on metal and shipped directly to you by my print on demand partner, an environmentally responsible way to source artwork. It will arrive ready to hang with a floating mount hanger so that it will create an elegant profile separating it from your wall by nearly an inch. The 12 × 12 will have a sturdy easel back support.
