Farewell Windy City
After a wonderful week in Chicago, I was leaving the Little Chinatown area where I had just dined. As I walked the streets, I glanced back over my shoulder—the line of traffic barricades drew my eye toward a partial view of the skyline. They seemed to embody the hustle and bustle of a city forever growing and building. The limited color palette, born of an approaching dusk thunderstorm, also mirrored my mood. While I felt a pang of sadness to leave, I realized this image was meant to remind me that when I returned, both the city and I would have changed.
